Advanced Pharmaceutical Consultants, Inc is a pharmacy management company that specializes in behavioral health and drug treatment centers by providing pharmacists, technicians, automation as well as expertise. We are currently seeking a licensed, experienced, hospital trained Pharmacy Technician to join our team at a behavioral health facility in the Boston, MA area. This is for a full-time position, 40 hours/week Monday through Friday.* Experience with Automated Dispensing Machines Preferred.* Hospital Experience preferred.* National certification preferred* Massachusetts pharmacy technician licenseSKILLS* Unit dosing of oral medications* Placing orders with vendors, verifying receipt* Removing outdated drugs* Proven experience as pharmacy technician* Knowledge of medication and dosage measurement* Knowledge of pharmacy law and medical terminology* Excellent communication and customer service skills* Successful completion of a pharmacy technician program preferredJob Type: Full-timePay: $22.00 per hourBenefits:* 401(k)* Dental insurance* Employee assistance program* Health insurance* Paid time offPhysical Setting:* InpatientSchedule:* Day shift* Monday to FridayExperience:* hospital pharmacy technician: 1 year (Preferred)License/Certification:* Massachusetts pharmacy technician license (Required)Work Location: In person
