Job Description: A full-time position responsible for the management and coordination of instruction technology and network systems of the school district. The work is performed under the general supervision of the Superintendent of Schools.

Responsibilities:

• Develops and coordinates instructional technology plans for the school district.
• Manages the coordination of the network systems of the school district.
• Oversees, installs, and maintains an inventory of all district technology infrastructure, hardware, software, and equipment.
• Oversees and assists in troubleshooting problems that arise with hardware and software district-wide.Requirements:
  • Thorough knowledge of the principles and practices involved in delivering information technology to effectively meet the needs of a school district.
  • Thorough knowledge of the overall operation of information technology systems, computer hardware, and software.
  • Thorough knowledge of security methods and procedures used in network systems.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Graduation from high school, possession of a high school equivalency diploma, or a high school individual education plan diploma, and graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in computer science, computer technology, or a closely related field.Starting salary: $75 - $85k per year, depending on experience.Send cover letter, resume, civil service application/Mayfield application to:
