Job Description:
A company is looking for an Overpayment Representative (Remote)
to manage credit balances and refund requests.
Key Responsibilities
Process guarantor, Medicare, Medicaid, and other refund
requests
Research and validate refunds, assembling necessary documentation
for approval
Handle customer service calls and communicate with insurance
carriers regarding payment issues
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous medical billing experience preferred, with knowledge of
payment refunds
Knowledge of IDX posting process
Ability to read and understand insurance company explanations of
benefits
Accurate 10-key skills
