Job Description:
A company is looking for an Outpatient Coding Specialist with
experience in various coding services.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide coding services for ProFee and Facility E/M levels using
company algorithms
Accurately apply ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT, and HCPCS codes
Maintain compliance with ethical coding standards and internal
policies
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education:
Certification through AAPC (CPC or COC) or AHIMA (CCS or CCS-P)
Minimum of 6 months of on-the-job coding experience
Working knowledge of EMR and billing systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
Access to reliable internet and current coding materials
